Distribution of scholarships and materials among meritorious students in Lakshmipur

Educational materials were provided to meritorious students of Pratapganj High School in Lakshmipur and scholarships were provided to economically backward poor students. The program was organized at the school auditorium on Saturday at 11 am.
The scholarship awarding and educational material distribution ceremony organized by the Dhaka Forum of Pratapganj High School alumni was presided over by the President of the School Managing Committee, freedom fighter Alhaj M Alauddin.

The chief guest was eminent industrialist and former student of the school, Saidur Rahman. The special guests were Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, former student of the school and child health specialist, Makshudur Rahman Swapan, eminent industrialist and former student of the school, Omar Faruk Bachchu, Deputy Assistant Land Officer of Dhaka, Convener of Dhaka Forum of Former Students and Deputy Director of Narsingdi Agriculture Department, Agriculturist Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin, Supreme Court lawyer, Adv. Helal Amin, General Secretary of Chandraganj Bazar Management Committee, Mao: Md. Abdul Quddus. The welcome speech was delivered by the school's headmaster, Md. Sirajul Islam.
The program, moderated by Mohiuddin Bulu, joint convener of the school's alumni forum, was also attended by former student and retired audit and account officer Md. Nurnabi, vice-president of Lakshmipur District National Party Shamsuddin Patwari, former student and headmaster of Pratapganj Government Primary School Kazi Md. Mostafa Kajal, police officer cadet Mohiuddin working in the intelligence wing of the Police Headquarters, former student and president of Chandraganj Press Club, journalist Md. Ali Hossain, president of the Lakshmipur District Branch of the Ex-Cadet Association Nasir Uddin, former students Kamruzzaman Nizam, Babul Hossain and Ainul Ahmed Tanvir, among others.
After the discussion, the guests distributed cash and educational materials as scholarships among 63 students from grades 6 to 10. A large number of students, parents, and teachers of the school were present at the time.
