2 establishments fined for selling expired food in Lakshmipur

The mobile court has fined two companies Tk 20,000 for preparing food in an unsanitary environment in Lakshmipur and selling food products.

On Thursday (October 27) in the presence of the police, the Executive Magistrate of the Deputy Commissioner's Office SM Sirajul Salehin fined Sramik Hotel and Shaheen Hotel in Chandraganj Bazar of Sadar Upazila.

According to the mobile court sources, the mobile court fined the owner of Tk 10,000 to the owner of the incident during the raid, which was not mentioned in the unsanitary environment of the worker hotel.

Executive Magistrate SM Sirajul Salehin said that food cannot be prepared and served in unsanitary conditions but the food preparation space is unhealthy, for this reason they have been fined and our campaign will continue to ensure healthy food.
