5 arrested for allegedly killing hotel worker in Lakshmipur

Ramgati in Lakshmipur. A 14-year-old hotel worker named Riaz has been accused of beating him to death against another worker of the same hotel including the hotel owner.

The incident took place at the Grameen Hotel in Alexander Bazar in the city over a trivial incident on Monday around 9 pm.
The corpse's relatives also alleged that the victims had left the body of the deceased at Noakhali General Hospital and fled, while the police said that after the incident, the police arrested 4 others including the accused laborer Abir for questioning, said the deceased Riaz Paur city. Son of the village Safu Majhi.
The victim's mother Parveen Akhtar and father Safu Majhi said that Riaz, the son of a homeless fisherman family who was broken in the river, was living temporarily in his younger brother's house (Riaz's uncle's house because he did not have a house). Due to being poor, he could not study more than 5 years ago. Riyaz took a job as a laborer in a local village hotel 3 years ago to meet the family's shortage.
On Monday night, Abir and hotel owner Zaher beat him up during a conversation with his colleague Abir in the hotel's kitchen.
When Riaz was seriously injured and fell on the ground, he was first admitted to Ramgati Upazila Health Complex, after which he was taken to Neyakhali General Hospital after the condition worsened, and the relatives said that he left his body at the hospital and ran away. If Riaz did not return home around 10 pm, the relatives of Riaz came to know that Riaz was no more.
In this regard, the officer in charge of Ramgati police station said. Iqbal Hossain said that he was beaten up by the village hotel employee Riaz, who was killed in the incident, and 4 others were brought to the police station, including the hotel owner's brother Jaglu, for questioning.
