A special initiative has been taken to increase the awareness of using helmets for motorcycle riders in the district under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Md. Faiz Ahmed of Netrakona district. On the occasion of traffic week, on Monday, Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police Circle Additional Superintendent of Police, Assistant Superintendent of Police Officer-in-charges took to the streets to encourage the use of helmets of motorcycle riders in various important places in ten police stations of Netrakona district.

At this time, motorcyclists who are using helmets are thanked with flowers, chocolates and those who are not using helmets are specially warned that if they do not use helmets, they will be charged and fined.

10 upazilas of Netrakona district have distributed flowers and chocolates among about 1100 motorcycle riders, said the activities of Netrakona district police will continue.
