Former US President Barack Obama has won an Emmy Award for Best Narrator.
The BBC reported on Sunday that the award was won for the Netflix documentary series "Our Great National Parks." The country's Television Academy said in a Twitter post that the 44th US president won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Narrative.
Five documentaries produced by Barack and Michelle Obama's production company, Higher Ground, feature national parks around the world.
After leaving office as US president in 2017, Obama built 'Higher Ground' with his wife Michelle. Barack Obama is the second US president to win an Emmy Award. Dwight D. Eisenhower won the award in 1956.
