Information and Broadcasting Minister Gazi Mazharul Annotar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Jati Award winning lyricist Dr. Hasan Mahmud.
A condolence message sent to the media, Minister Mazharul Anotar, sought the forgiveness of Anonor and expressed his deepest condolences to his bereaved family members.
The condolence minister said, ‘The unique example of lifelong music and vocal pursuits is that Mazharul Annotar has set, but the love of man is the most successful achievement of his life. Despite his numerous awards and honors, his artistry has not died.’
Hasan Mahmud also said, ‘Jut Bangla, Banglar Jort’, Ektara Tui Desh Talk Re Ebaro’, the life member of Gitikabi Sangh, a life member of Gitikabi Sangh, who won the Ekushey Padak in 2002 and the Independence Award in 2021.’
The number of awards won by Gazi Mazharul Annotaar with five national film awards, multiple Bacchus awards, and 60 years of culture service, has composed more than 20 thousand songs.
Baridharata Gazi Mazharul Annoar breathed his last on Sunday morning.
