Director (Public Relations) of the Commission SM Asaduzzaman said that such a decision was taken in the Election Commission meeting on Tuesday.

The EC Secretary Humaun Kabir Khondkar said after the meeting that the EC meeting will be decided on September 19 (Monday) on the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) project, and the discussion meeting was held to increase the use of electronic voting machines and sustainable management.

However, today's meeting has not taken any decision on the poison of EVM. We have postponed the meeting today. We hope that the next meeting will be held on Monday.

He said that they had formed a committee a few days ago to verify the market price of the EVM. They have not yet completed their work. After the verification, they will present the next commission meeting. Then the commission will review it and take a final decision.
