Cricketer Al-Amin surrenders, gets bail

Cricketer Al-Amin Hossain has got bail by surrendering the right to live together, monthly maintenance and children's expenses.

On Tuesday (September 27), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin granted his bail of five thousand taka after the court hearing.

On this day, the accused Al Amin appeared in the court, then surrendered through the lawyer and applied for bail, after the hearing, the court granted him bail till October 6.

Earlier on September 7, Al-Amin's wife Israt Jahan filed the case in court. After the hearing, the court took cognizance of the case and then issued a notice to Al-Amin to appear in the court on September 27.

According to the case, on December 26, 2012, Israt Jahan and Al-Amin got married according to the Islamic Shariot. Their two sons have been married. The boy is studying in English version in Mirpur Cantonment Public School and College.

Last August 25, around 10 o'clock in the night, Al Amin came to Basa and demanded Tk 20 lakh for dowry from his wife. Israt Jahan to pay If Al-Amin refused to kill him with a kill punches and injured him in different parts of his body, Israt Jahan asked for help by telephone 999. The police came and rescued him, who was treated at Sohraradi Medical College Hospital, which was also a case in Mirpur Model Police Station on September 1.
