India comfortably defeated Thailand in the first semi-final of the Women's Asia Cup.

Batting first at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Harmanpreet Kaur's team set a target of 149 runs for Thailand, who have reached the final for the first time, in the stipulated 20 overs. Batting against this big target, the Thai girls scored only 74 runs. And with that, India reached the final with a big win of 74 runs.
