International Disaster Reduction Day was celebrated in Tajumuddin Upazila with the theme "Early warning in disasters is a system for everyone".

Organized by the Tajumuddin Upazila administration and implemented by the Disaster Management Department and CPP, the rally started from the upazila premises on Thursday (October 13) morning and after circumambulating various roads of Shashiganj Bazar, it ended back at the upazila premises.

Present as the chief guests at the rally and discussion were Upazila Executive Officer Maryam Begum, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Selim Mia, CPP Upazila Officer Mazharul Haque, Tajumuddin Press Club President Rafiqul Islam Sadi and other volunteers.
