Hundreds of local government elections today

More than 100 local government elections, including seven upazilas and four municipalities, will be held today, Wednesday (November 2, including CCTV cameras in the municipal elections.

The Election Commission will monitor the polls from Dhaka, including seven upazilas, four municipalities, 19 UNION Parishad (UP), general positions in 11 UP, postponed 1 (reasons for death) and 58 UP for various posts in UP. Voting will start from 8 am on this day.

Election Commission (EC) Joint Secretary SM Asaduzzaman said that all the preparations for the election have been completed. The polling materials have reached the center. The members of the law enforcement agencies have also taken up the position of the polling area.
