47 arrested in anti-drug operation in Dhaka

Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested 47 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs by conducting anti-narcotics operations in different areas of the capital.

They were arrested and drugged in various police station areas of the capital from 6 am on Tuesday morning till 6 am.

151 grams of heroin, 120 bottles of Fensidil, 89 kg 940 grams of ganja, 10694 pieces of Eba and 20 injections were recovered from the custody of those arrested.

35 cases have been registered against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act.
