Mother and child commit suicide by consuming poison in Narsingdi

The suicide incident took place in Rashtpura of Narsingdi with a six-year-old child who died in the morning of the suicide incident in Satadabad village of Srinagar Unit in Charanchal of Rachpura Upazila of Narsingdi district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased are Ferdousi Begum (24), wife of Rakib Mita, the head of Satadabad village of Rakpura Srinagar Uni, and her two-year-old son Ahsaf.
Police and locals said that recently housewife Ferdausi Begum took a loan of Tk 1 lakh 20 thousand from NGOs. After paying the installment of the loan, there was a conflict with the husband Rakib.

On Monday night, the quarrel between the husband and wife started on Monday night. In the morning due to the quarrel, the wife Ferdausi Begum first poisoned her only child, Ahsaf, who was poisoned by poisoning. The locals rescued them and went to Rashtpura Upazila Health Complex and the doctor declared the child dead. When Ma Ferdousi Begum was taken to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for better treatment, she also died after 4 hours.
On the news, the police recovered two bodies and brought the Surathal report by bringing it to Ratpura Thana. The doctor said that the mother and the child have died.
