The Election Commission (EC) has recently announced the seat of BNP, which has resigned from the parliament, the party's resignation from the parliament. The by-election may be scheduled for next Sunday (December 18). And the polls may be held at the end of January.

The EC has called the commission meeting on Sunday, which will be held at 11 am on the same day, which will be chaired by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Authal, which may come up with a decision to announce the schedule of the by-election.
