President and Prime Minister pay tribute to brave martyrs

On the occasion of the great Bijt Day, President Md. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the liberation war at the Savar Jati Memorial.

Today Friday (December 16) around 7:30 am they paid their respects.

President Abdul Hamid first laid wreaths at the altar of the memorial, then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina offered wreaths, while the President and the Prime Minister were silent for a while in the memory of the brave martyrs of the Liberation War. A well-arranged group of Army, Navy and Air Force was then greeted by the state salutes.

Members of the Cabinet, Advisor to the Prime Minister, Members of Parliament, Chiefs of the Three Forces, Ambassadors and Diplomats of various countries, military and civil officers of the government were present.

After that, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina again paid tribute to the top leaders of the party as the president of Awami League and again at the Jati Memorial.
