The monthly meeting of the Upazila Law and Order Committee was held in Baniachang.
Satisfaction was expressed in the meeting as the overall law and order situation in the upazila is normal.
The meeting was informed that the process of establishing a Ramnath Memorial Library named after world-renowned geographer Ramnath Biswas at his residence is underway.
The meeting was informed that disputes over bills, water bodies, and land have decreased due to the active presence of law enforcement personnel.
It was reported that this was possible due to the continued concerted efforts of all concerned to maintain the overall law and order situation.
The meeting held at the Baniachong Upazila Parishad auditorium on Thursday, December 22 at 3 pm was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Padmasan Singh.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Abul Kashem Chowdhury spoke as the chief guest.
