The Holy Qur'an in the church of Rajshahi on Christmas, Isa Nabi claims!

The biggest religious festival of the Christian community was alleged to have been left in a church prayer room in a church in Rajshahi on the day of the incident against a man who claimed to be Jesus, who was a prophet of Jesus, who was in the Uttam Shepherd Cathedral Church in the garden area of Kashiadanga Thana area on Sunday (December 25).

After learning about the poison, the police arrested the accused in a raid in the city's Newmarket area at 12 noon, police said, claiming that the arrested man was claiming to be Jesus Nabi.

The arrested person's name is Golam Chowdhury (34). He is the son of deceased Quddus Chowdhury of Chhota Bangram New Colony area under Chandrima police station.

After the incident, the security of Baganpazha Shepherd Cathedral Church and other churches in Kashiadanga Thana area, a suburb of Rajshahi city, has been strengthened.

Uttam Shepherd Cathedral Church Father Uttam Rezorio said on Sunday morning that a man was present in the church prayer room during the religious ceremony on Sunday morning, when a handful of people were present in the worship room, one of them asked to take the Quran Sharif in his hand, but the Quran Sharif was left in the church's prayer room and the accused left the church in the church's prayer room.

After the incident, the Kashiadanga police station was informed about the incident and they came and recovered the Quran Sharif.

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique said the arrested youth wrapped in a red cloth and left it in the Holy Quran Sharif church, later the church said to the police that the CCTV camera footage was collected in the church, after which the accused was identified and was arrested at 12 noon after seeing the CCTV footage installed at different intersections of Rajshahi metropolis.

The commissioner also said that the arrested Golam Chowdhury claimed himself as a prophet Jesus Christ, who said in the initial interrogation that he left the Holy Quran Sharif in the church of the good shepherd to destroy the religious solemnity and communal harmony of the birthday of Jesus Christ, destroy the religious sanctity and create anarchy across the country.
