Faridpur District Representative –

The annual election of Faridpur Press Club (2022-23) has been completed in which the editor of the local daily Bhorer Runner newspaper Md. Habibur Rahman Habib has been elected president and representative of Daily Bangladesh Pratidin Kamruzzaman Sohel as general secretary.
Voting will be held from 9 am to 1 pm on Wednesday (December 28).
Md. was elected by getting 57 votes for the post of president. Habibur Rahman Habib, his rival candidate, the editor of the local Daily Nagrik Barta, Kabirul Islam Siddiqui, has received 38 votes.
NTV representative Sanjib Das was elected for the post of vice-president, Manjutara Swapna, representative of Daily Bangladesh Samatara Swapna and 44 votes, Mahabub Hossain, representative of Focus Bangla, became a member of the figure.
general Daily Bangladesh Pratidin representative Kamruzzaman Sohel was elected for the post of 32 votes and his rival candidate, Moshiur Rahman Khokon, a representative of Dainik Bhorer Kagaz and former general secretary Moshiur Rahman Khokon got 28 votes.
Daily Ittefaq's representative Tariqul Islam Himel was elected for the post of Deputy General Secretary by 51 votes, Shahadat Hossain Titu of Channel I was elected for the post of Finance Secretary.
Office Editor Daily Inkilab Anonor Zahid, Publicity and Publication Editor Anand TV's S,M Moniruzzaman, Literary and Cultural Editor Md. Zahidul Islam, Editor of Weekly Kanaipur Barta, Information Technology and Library Editor Muijur Rahman Rabi and Krija Editor as Editor Shravan Hasan were elected as Shravanan Hasan of the local daily Bengali Samajat newspaper.
SM Raisul Islam Rubel of Daily Ittefaq, Nurul Islam Anju of Daily Dinkal, Md. of Asitan TV, Md. Raisul Islam Rubel of local daily Faridpur Barta newspaper. Sirajul Islam, local daily Bengali Samt editor Salim Molla and online news portal Baishakhnews.com editor Ruhul Amin have been elected.
