Debris of helicopter found underground in Lakshmipur

In Lakshmipur, the ruins of the crashed helicopter (part of the fan including rotors) have been found in the village of Hajirpaja Union of Sadar Upazila.

The locals have been curious about the destruction of the helicopter, they say, it could be the ruins of the helicopter that crashed during the British period or the liberation war.

Khorshed Alam Sumon, owner of Ma BRICS, said, "I am in Dhaka. The rescued fan is in our custody, we will deliver it to the office of the Deputy Commissioner during office hours.

Shamchul Alam Babul, Chetman of the Hazirpana Unitn Parishad, said, "I have seen the rescue fan on Facebook, which may be from the British era."

Chandraganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tahidul Islam said, "I was not aware of the incident. No one told me but was being inquired."

Laxmipur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Imran Hossain said, "I have come to know about the incident. The OC of the police station will be asked to recover the helicopter's fan and it will be recovered soon."
