Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the US presidential election, has promised to bring peace to the world. But there is considerable doubt whether he was actually a pacifist. For this reason, the question has been raised whether Trump can restore peace in the war-torn world.

Trump was elected president in 2016. When he first came to power, he threatened to bomb Saudi Arabia and the Emirates as a countermeasure against the Saudi multinational force responsible for the genocide in Yemen. He threatened nuclear war with North Korea several times. The US conflict with Iran was at an extreme. Tensions rose in Venezuela. US military spending was increased in the Balkans and the Israeli-Palestinian war.

Trump has always encouraged war-violence abroad. He celebrated Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Moreover, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was fueled to attack Gaza and Lebanon. That Trump announced in an election rally last Friday, "We want peace on earth."
Trump often complains that his opponents are warmongers. He criticized Kamala Harris and said that killings will increase in the world if she becomes president. Even Kamala will lead the world to World War III.

Sarah Hagdusti, executive director of the advocacy group Win Without War, said Trump's presentation of himself as a pacifist candidate is completely absurd. Hagdosti said that when Trump was president, he tore up the nuclear deal with Iran and recklessly killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. This brings the United States to the brink of a devastating war with Iran.

Meanwhile, experts are concerned about the possibility of Trump's second term in power. They think that if Trump comes to power, Russia may extend its aggressive hand towards Europe. World peace will be in extreme danger. News from HuffPost.
