Bangladesh - The United States Defense Dialogue Begins

12th Bangladesh-United States to strengthen military cooperation between Bangladesh and the United States The defense dialogue has begun and the dialogue will start on Wednesday (December 10) and will continue till tomorrow Thursday in the Bangladesh Armed Forces Division of the capital Dhaka.

This information was reported on the verified Facebook page of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday. This defense dialogue has been held between the two countries since 2012. The continuation of this is the ongoing meeting of Bangladesh and the United States.

The ISPR has said that the defense dialogue is very important for the mutual military cooperation of the two countries. In this dialogue, the various issues of military cooperation will be discussed in this dialogue. The said dialogue will increase bilateral military cooperation in the field of global and regional security, technology, defense equipment, disaster management, peacekeeping operations, training, visitation, joint practice and workshops, etc.

The Defense Dialogue is led by Brigadier General Muhammad Ali Hatadar Siddiqui, Director General of the Department of Armed Forces, Operations and Planning, and the US delegation is led by Brigadier General Sarah Rouss.

In addition to the armed forces department, the senior officials of various organizations including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Coast Guard are participating in this dialogue.

Through this two-day defense dialogue, the military relations between the two countries will be improved and mutual trust and friendship is expected to deepen.
