The Election Commission (EC) has said that only 36 nomination papers of the BNP alliance in the reserved women's seat in the 13th national parliament are valid.
The returning officer said that those whose nominations have been canceled can appeal by April 26.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, NCP leader Monira Sharmin has been given the documents till 12 noon on Thursday to provide documents.
Last Monday (April 20), BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the names of 36 candidates.

They are Selima Rahman, Shirin Sultana, Rasheda Begum Hira, Rehana Akhtar Ranu, Neoz Halima Arli, Mosa. Farida Isamin, Bilkis Islam, Sakila Farzana, Helen Zerin Khan, Nilofar Chowdhury Moni, Nipun Raut Chowdhury, Jiba Amina Khan, Mahmuda Habiba, Mocha. Sabira Sultana, Sansila Jebrin, Sanjida Islam Tuli, Sultana Ahmed, Fahmida Haque, Anna Minz, Subarna Sikder (Thakur), Shamim Ara Begum Swapna, Mosammat Shammi Akhtar, Ferdowsi Ahmed, Beethika Binte Hossain, Mosha. Suraita Zerin, Mansura Akhtar, Jahrat Adib Chowdhury, Mumtaz Alo, Fahima Nasreen, Arifa Sultana, Mocha. Sanjida Isamin, Nadita Pathan Papon, Shaukat Ara Akhtar, Madhavi Marma, Selina Sultana and Rezeka Sultana.
According to the announced schedule, the last date for submission of nomination papers was April 21 and 22 and 23 April.
The nomination will be withdrawn on April 29 and the allotment of symbols will be given on April 30. Elections for the reserved seat of the 13th National Assembly will be held on May 12.
