Students' skills competition in Lakshmipur

A skills competition for students was held in Lakshmipur with the slogan 'We will build the country through education, Sheikh Hasina's Bangladesh'.

The competition was organized at the Electronics Lab of Lakshmipur Polytechnic Institute on Thursday (October 26) afternoon.

Seven teams participated in the competition. Swapan's team won first place for inventing a digital home system control and security device, Akbar Hossain's team won second place for inventing a bump power plant, and Abu Bakar Siddique's team won third place for inventing a new device to catch thieves. All the members of the winning team are students of the Electronics Department.

Present at the event were - Principal (Acting) Engineer Md. Alauddin of Lakshmipur Polytechnic Institute, Assistant Senior Commissioner of the Deputy Commissioner's Office ANM Badruddoza, Acting Principal of the Technical Training Center Mirza Firoz Hasan, Head of the Electronics Department of the Polytechnic Institute Atiqur Rahman, Head of the Architecture Department Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of Dynamic Computer Hasan Ahmed Bhuiyan and journalist Rubel Hossain.

Incidentally, since 2014, skills competitions have been held simultaneously on October 26 at 126 polytechnic institutes across the country.
