Painting competition in Lakshmipur

Lakshmipur: A painting competition was organized in Lakshmipur to mark the recognition of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's March 7th speech by UNESCO.

Lakshmipur Shishu Academy organized the event at the Zilla Parishad auditorium on Friday (November 17) afternoon.

After the competition, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lakshmipur District Child Affairs Officer Abdullah Al Jabbar. The chief guest was Professor Main Uddin Pathan, Principal of Lakshmipur Government College. Babu Kajal Kanti Das, Commander of the Lakshmipur District Unit of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad, spoke as the main discussant.

At the event, Ahmed Shehzad Zian, a student of the play class of Kakli Shishu Angan and a first-year student of the Shishu Academy Painting Department, delivered Bangabandhu's historic March 7 speech. Later, the guests presented the prizes to the winners.
