Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu said that the Digital Security Act has been finalized. If the approval of the Cabinet, the 57th section of the Information Technology (ICT) Act will be repealed.

Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu said this to reporters after an inter-ministerial meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

He said, “I have completed the Digital Security Act. After the approval of the Cabinet, I hope to be able to raise it in the National Parliament in the next winter session.”

Jasad president Inu said, “The Digital Security Act is being made for 16 crore citizens. So there is no separate substance called journalists. When the broadcast law comes later, journalists and media workers will be arranged.”
