The grand alliance government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to form the government again. Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. The oath-taking of the new cabinet will be held at 3 pm on Monday (January 7).

Meanwhile, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam confirmed the matter and said that the new cabinet members will take oath at Bangabhaban next Monday.

After the oath-taking ceremony of the members of the 11th Parliament at Level-1 of the Parliament Building at 11 am on Thursday (January 3), the leader of the Parliament, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, went to Bangabhaban. There, President Md. Abdul Hamid invited her to form the new government. During the meeting, Sheikh Hasina was accompanied by the party's General Secretary Obaidul Quader and Advisory Council members Amir Hossain Amu and Tofail Ahmed.

After the meeting, the President's Press Secretary Md. Joynal Abedin said on mobile phone that the cabinet's swearing-in ceremony will be held next Monday afternoon.

It is worth noting that this is Sheikh Hasina's first meeting with the President after winning the 11th National Parliament election on December 30. This time, the ruling Awami League won 257 out of 298 seats in the election. As a coalition, they won 288 seats. On the other hand, their main opponent, the BNP and its allies, won only seven seats in total.
