State Minister for Water Resources to visit Kamalnagar tomorrow

State Minister Zahid Faruk will visit the river erosion-affected areas in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur on Friday (April 12). He will deliver a speech as the chief guest at a roadshow in Matabbarhat area on Friday (April 12) at 10 am. Lakshmipur-04 MP Major (retd) Abdul Mannan will be present at the event.

Abu Noman Md. Abdur Rahim, private secretary to MP Major (retd.) Abdul Mannan, confirmed the matter. He said that State Minister for Water Resources Zahid Faruk Shamim is coming on this visit to inspect the erosion-affected areas of the Meghna River in Kamalnagar-Ramgati Upazila. MP Major (retd.) Abdul Mannan of Lakshmipur-04 constituency, former MP Abdullah Al Mamun, Director General of Water Development Board Engineer Md. Mahfuzur Rahman and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources Montu Kumar Biswas will accompany him on the trip.
They will join a road meeting in Matabbarhat area after visiting the river erosion-affected areas by helicopter on Tuesday morning. After the meeting, the Water Resources Minister will leave for Dhaka via Mannan Nagar in Noakhali.
