100 crore defamation case against Shami Kaiser

The incident of losing mobile phones in the national press club was ‘thief’ by holding journalists down E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-CAB) President and actress Shami Kaussar has been charged a defamation case of Tk 100 crore for being addressed.

On Tuesday, the case was filed in the court of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) by the editor of online basis newspaper Student Journal BD Mia Md. Nuzhatul Hasan.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor has said that after taking the statement of the plaintiff, the order of the complaint will be given.

It is said in the statement of the case that on April 24, the actress Shami Kaussar accused the theft of mobile phones and detained half a hundred journalists in the press club.
