A 5-year-old child has died after drowning in Raatpur upazila of Laxmipur. The child's name is Md. Zaheed Hossain. He is the only son of Majhi Bair Delotar Hossain of Char Ababil Unit of the upazila.
According to the family sources, Zahed's mother was busy cooking at noon. On this occasion, Zaheed came out of the house and after 15-20 minutes, Zaheed's mother came out of the kitchen and searched for him.
Later, the doctor on duty declared him dead, and the area was deeply saddened by his death.
