Dhaka: The long wait has come to an end, the dream is a reality today. The public transport of Dhaka in the new era has officially started the much-desired dream metro rail in the city of heavy traffic.
On Wednesday (December 28) at 1:52 PM, the Metro Rail officially started its journey from Ditabai ({Uttara}) station to Agargaon for the first time for the first time.

The first trip was to the metro rail passengers and his entourage, leaving Uttara, the train reached Agargaon station in just 18 minutes.

The first journey was accompanied by his younger sister Sheikh Rehana, the Speaker of the National Parliament as a passenger with the Prime Minister. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, Minister of Transport and Bridges Obatadul Quader along with cabinet members and invited guests.

Also, the first journey was accompanied by the Prime Minister's companions, elected brave freedom fighters, school college and madrasa students, imams of mosques, garment workers, rickshaw pullers, vegetable sellers, small ethnic groups, businessmen and important people of the government.
