A madrasa student named Batzeed (15) was killed in Narsingdi and the accident took place at Chaitanya Devaltek village of Shivpur upazila of Narsingdi district on Saturday (December 24) around 8 pm.
Batjid is the son of Shajahan Khan of Devaltek village, who was a student of a local madrasa.
The deceased's sister-in-law Jahangir Jana, said that in the evening, a chicken farm near Sandhya was electrocuted. Later, the people around saw him and informed his family.
On receiving the news, the family members rescued him at the spot and went to Narsingdi 100-bed district hospital where the doctor declared him dead.
Narsingdi District Hospital Supervisor Dr. Mizanur Rahman said that he had come to the hospital in a dead condition.
Shibpur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Salahuddin Mita said, I have not received any news about this yet.
