Bangladeshi teacher Raisul wins student council election at Irish university

Bangladeshi student Raisul Sourav has been elected to the position of ethnic minority officer for the 2025-26 Meats of the University of Galway Students Union in Ireland, a world-leading university established in 1845, where the student union began in 1911. It later became the current union in 1964. The current President of Ireland, Michael de Higgins, was the first president of the then Student Union in 1964-65.

The locals will be elected for the second consecutive term in the 2024-25 period after the election of the local 9 pm election.

Associate Professor of Law Department of Dhaka International University and Supreme Court lawyer Raisul Sourav Golte is doing research in the college of Business, Public Policy and Law under the scholarship of the University Law School in the law school.
