National Sanitation and Global Handwashing Day celebrated in Kamalnagar

Global Handwashing Day-2017 was celebrated in Kamalnagar, Laxmipur with the slogan 'Clean hands, beautiful future'. The Kamalnagar Upazila Administration and Public Health Engineering Department organized a rally and discussion meeting on Thursday (October 26). In the morning, a rally started from the Char Basu SESDP Model High School premises, circled the main roads and ended at the school premises. Later, a discussion meeting was held in the school conference room.
Kamalnagar Upazila Public Health Engineer Begum Monika presided over the discussion meeting, where Kamalnagar Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Nasir Uddin Sarwar was the chief guest. Kamalnagar Upazila Secondary Education Officer (Acting) Md. Touhidul Islam, Headmaster of this school Mizanur Rahman (Manik), Manager of Kamalnagar Surya Hasi Clinic Sayed Al Mamun and Donor Member of the school Mao: Md. Yusuf were present as special guests. A large number of students of this institution were also present. After the meeting, about 600 students were trained in hand washing. Later, all the students were entertained by the Public Health Engineer.
